Sam Jason is being harassed by a gang that's after his oil leases secretly led by attractive widow Clarabelle Adams, and he looks to old friend Steve Driscoll and his alter ego, the Durango Kid.
Clarabelle's ranch is called The Flying A. In 1952, Gene Autry purchased and renamed the property Melody Ranch and converted the location into a thriving television studio. He filmed his Flying A Pictures' series including The Gene Autry Show, The Range Rider, Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill, Jr., and The Adventures of Champion there.
