I was being sarcastic. This was possibly the second or third Russian film shot in A.G.F.A color, now dubbed Magic color. Russians seemed to have jumped in to color cinematography quicker than any other foreign country at that time, even before ended.When Russia invaded Berlin,they took over the film plant took color film stock and took the film and stock. A.G.F.A. color became a Russian film process as well as German too, Would become French and Italian too.I didn't under stand it much but i read the plot on Wikipedia. It seems every one is having a good time in this film. It never get's serious.Lidiya Dranoskya plays Sokolova, who just graduated from agricultural school. It's V day every body near the train station is celebrating. Most of them are soldiers and women and other citizens dancing the street.Soko is pushing the crowed to get to the train station to buy her ticket. She gets in her room and these two naval officers are in the same compartment. One is blonde and a little heavy and very friendly , the other is very quite and lean and tall,played by Leonid Gallis,Lavernteyev. She seems to become more interest in him than the blond officers.The other is an older babushka type women character, in the compartment.Well just about every one is friendly and talkative, except for lave.Well the dinner bells rings and every one goes to the dinner. This movie becomes a musical all the customers are just talking to each other and being cheery as they eat. They seem to take turns making toast as they drink wine.Then some body starts singing a song. Traditional Russian folk song.Well they stop at the train station the next day. She goes out to observe and has a bite to eat and he goes out too. Well she gets too talkative to a bunch of people near a carnival and lave runs to her cause the train is about to go. They both miss it. They are force to wait for another train. Some one tries to offer her some money but she says no. She starts to notice as the train supervisor ,played by Konstatin Sorokin, as he announces train schedule that his voice is horse. She finds him and he has a cold so she helps them out. Lave finds out that a manager of a plant , played by Victor lyubimov, has a plain and ask if he could take him and her to their destination since it's going to that same area. The plant managers agrees and has his pilot to take both of them. Everything is going right until the plane crashes. All three are stuck. As a fire has been develop out doors both Soko and Lave get more interested in each other. They both find a farming co-op and she ends of spending the night . He ,next day, finds a boat so they both leaving on that to get back to their train. They finally get to their train but this time they are put in a crowded compartment. The next stop they really start to get serious, almost missing their train. But this time they are alone and have fallen in love with each other. She's in tear as they are in their journeys end so they get mad at each other . Finally at home she meets her relatives he meets his other comrades . He decides to go to her a bury the hatchet. they both realized that it was a trip and they never were in love with each other
