The Cisco Kid and his English-mangling sidekick Pancho travel the old west in the grand tradition of the Lone Ranger, righting wrongs and fighting injustice wherever they find it.
This was the first television series to be shot in color. However, broadcasts were still in black and white at the time and few viewers saw the series in color until the 1960s.
The Cisco Kid:
Pancho: Oh, Cisco!
During 1953, each episode was shot twice, once in color, once in black and white, owing to concerns about color picture quality on black and white sets. In syndication, the color/BW episodes were mixed and matched.
