Three years after this film was released, Tom D'Andrea would co-star again with William Bendix, this time in Bendix's series The Life of Riley (1953), in which he played Riley's neighbor Jim Gillis. Henry Kulky, also in this film, was a regular on "The Life of Riley", too.


When Bill Johnson (William Bendix) is bouncing around in the locker room of the umpire school, support wires are clearly visible during the final bounce.
