TV Series | TV-PG | | Western
Western stories and legends based, and filmed, in and around Death Valley, California. One of the longest-running Western series, originating on radio in the 1930s. The continuing sponsor was "20 Mule Team" Borax, a product formerly mined in Death Valley.
During its run, the series was also honored with awards from the Governors of three states (California, Nevada, and Utah), the University of Washington, and historical societies, such as the Native Daughters of the Golden West.
The forms of dress worn by the characters rarely corresponded with those worn in the 19th century. This included pants with belt loops, men's shirts with full buttons down their front and women often not wearing bonnets or hats when outside.
Tom Hardy has been on a remarkable run since Inception, so it's no surprise he's been offered a bunch of big roles in the past decade. But which blockbusters did he turn down?
