The airliner seen landing at the beginning of the film is a BOAC Boeing 377 "Stratocruiser". It had two passenger decks, with the lower one usually configured as a cocktail lounge. As the passengers deplane, the canopy over the stairs mentioned BOAC's "Monarch" service, which was their brand of all-inclusive first class service.

This film had its premier on Turner Classic Movies on August 25, 2020 as part of their "Summer Under the Stars" all-day tribute marathon to George Raft.

Joan's car is a Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk II. 5,493 were made from 1950 to 1952.
