Denning visits Mados in his flat and after knocking him down goes to the door with his hat in his hand, looks back and sees Mados lying with his head in the fireplace. Denning goes over to check on him, throwing his hat onto a chair as he does so. Discovering Mados is dead he goes to a phone, picks up the receiver and as he does so he sees a photograph of his daughter and puts the phone down. As he sits on a settee his hat is in his hand.
Just before putting Mados' body in a trunk, Denning drapes a cloth over the spare wheel attached to the back of the trunk. Denning quickly puts the body in the trunk and closes the lid without moving the trunk. As he drives away there's no sign of the cloth but later when he's pulled up by a policeman for having a faulty rear light and he gets out to examine it there's the cloth hanging out of the trunk.
While testing a plane Denning (John Mills) clips a pylon with a wing tip and crashes but the shot of the crashed plane as it bursts into flames shows no damage to the wing.
Errors in geography
A radio announcer says that there has been an accident at the intersection of Palace Gate and Kensington High Street. The high street ends before the crossing with Palace Gate. The road at that point is called Kensington Road.
