An ex-husband and wife team star in a musical version of 'The Taming of the Shrew'; off-stage, the production is troublesome with ex-lovers' quarrels and two gangsters looking for some money owed to them.
Some assume that the name of Academy Award(TM) winning choreographer Hermes Pan is just a ridiculous stage name. In fact, being Greek, his first name was Greek - that of Hermes (messenger of the gods - the Greek version of Mercury). His last name was also Greek: Panagiotopoulos. As this was difficult to pronounce, he simply shortened it to Pan (the satyr god of lust). The combination of names provided the unintended message that he was both lusty and was done as quickly as possible.
Boom mic shadows very visible in scenes backstage during the performance of the show.
Released both in 3-D and "regular" versions.
