The sexed-up image of Rela (Barbara Stanwyck), in a short skirt, and low cut blouse, prominently displayed on the poster, is nothing like the politely clothed, 45 year old Stanwyck who appears in the film; the provocative line of dialogue attributed to her on the poster, is never heard.
Crew or equipment visible
When Rela leaves the undertaker's office and closes the door behind her, reflected in the left door glass pane is the back of a modern truck, and in the right glass pane is a face of a person wearing a dark hat standing nearby.
Tom says he's glad he was fired from his job at the bank as he was tired of working from 9 to 5. At the time the film is set, most banks kept "banker's hours", 10 AM to 3 PM (although Tom may have been required to come in before opening, and stay after closing).
Wes was covering the bank personnel while he and Tom were leaving, yet failed to notice the bank president reaching into his jacket for what turned out to be a small pistol. Error 1: not frisking all captives for weapons. Error 2: not noticing the reach despite looking straight at it. Error 3: not waiting till Tom was out the door and in the car before backing away.
