Attila, the leader of the barbarian Huns and called by the Romans "The Scourge of God", sweeps onto the Italian peninsula, defeating all of the armies of Rome, until he and his men reach the gates of the city itself.
The Director of Photography was credited to Aldo Tonti. His team of camera operators included Giuseppe Rotunno (who was about to be elevated and become one of Italy's premier DPs) and Karl Struss, a veteran American with over 30 years as a DP and was already an Oscar winner.
Although this was an Italian co-production shot in Italy, Eduardo Ciannelli's name is misspelled in the credit.
