This suspenseful and intriguing film is a whodunit with the ordinary premise of a crime committed in a closed place , the flat where the murdered starring lives , from now on, the picture develops a series of flashbacks about the different suspect roles to execute the killing . As the main issue is to discover who is the murderous . It was uneven and irregularly made with non-sense dialogue at times , filmed in ups and downs , resulting to be a little bit boring . Main and support cast are uniformly good . Stars Jose Suárez as the stubborn Police Inspector who finds out the case , along with his helper Francisco Sánchez , resulting in unexpected consequences , Nani Fernandez as Inspector's girlfriend , Gerard Tichy as the unfortunate writer , Angel Picazo as the reporter , Silvia Morgan as the beautiful tenant , among others .
It contains a dark and shading cinematography in black and white by prestigious Manuel Berenguer who had a successful national and international career . As well as atmospheric musical score by the British Charles Williams. Being mostly shot in interior and at an only scenario . The movie was regular but professionally written and directed by Cesar Fernández Ardavin. And winner Cinema Writers Circle Awards CEC to Best actor : José Suárez, Best actress : Silvia Morgan and best director Cesar Fernández Ardavin . This filmmaker was a good writer, producer and director who made acceptable films, shorts and documentary . As he directed movies as Doña Perfecta, No matarás, Hembra , La Celestina , La Frontera de Dios , Cerca de las Estrellas , Y eligió el Infierno, La Puerta Abierta , Billete para Tanger , La Llamada de África and his greatest hit was El Lazarillo de Tormes that won Award in Berlín and other International Festivals . Rating : 6/10 , passable movie , but neither extraordinary , nor notable but acceptable .
