Although it was photographed in the 1.33:1 academy ratio, the film was meant to be projected in a matted 1.85:1 widescreen ratio. As of 2019, it remains available on TV and home video only in academy ratio, with excess picture information on the top and bottom of the screen.
Castle Films edited two home movie versions in both silent and sound, 2- and 7-minute, 16mm, regular- and super-8, under the titles "Fireman, Save My Child" and "No Fires, Please." Only chases and other comedy scenes were used (no musical production numbers).
