Vic Brady draws young Don Gregor into a life of crime. He then blackmails Gregor's plastic surgeon father into fixing up his face so he can evade the cops.
The nightclub scene was originally a strip club, but the production company replaced Edward D. Wood Jr.'s scene with a blackface minstrel show. Some releases of the movie restore it to the original scene.
Honey, that's bad business, cop killing.
Vic Brady: So what? They bleed like anybody else. Now stop gibbering! I gotta think!
At the beginning, the police car pulls up in front of the station and the two officers take the prisoner inside the station. They leave the back door open and are not seen going back outside. A few minutes later, Don is bailed out and he and Marilyn (who was inside the station the entire time) leave through the same door the officers used. Her car is parked in the same spot where the police car had been.
Released onto home video as a "Director's Cut," in which a striptease scene replaces the original segment of a blackface entertainer.
