• Curly : The women would sniffle softly, some probably even faint, the ones that took a shine to you whilst you was alive.

  Jud Fry : Now, what women ever took a shine to me?

  Curly : Lots of women. Only they never come right out and tell you how they feel unless'n you die first.

• Jud Fry : You ain't told me yet what business you had here. We got no cattle to sell. We got no cow ponies. There could be only one other thing on this farm you could want, and it better not be that!

  Curly : That's just what it is.

  Jud Fry : You keep away from her, you hear?

• Ali Hakim : Here, take a look at these postcards.

  Jud Fry : I'm sick of them things. I want me a real woman. I'm tired of these pictures of women.

  Ali Hakim : Well, throw them away! Buy some new ones! If you get tired of a woman, what can you do? Nothing. You just keep getting tireder and tireder.

• [Curly notices that the haystack is fire] 

  Curly : Fire! Haystack's a fire!

  Skidmore : Get some water!

  [He and the people are getting the water. Jud Fry running with a torch to the haystack and sees Curly and Laurey on top of the haystack] 

  Jud Fry : Curly, I've got a present for ya! I didn't have to kiss the bride! But, I've got a present for you!

  [burns the haystack with a torch, Laurey screaming] 

  Jud Fry : There's a present for you!

  [draws a knife] 

  Jud Fry : Come on! Come on!

  Curly : Ike! Slim, quick!

  Jud Fry : Come on!

  [Laurey jumps off the haystack. Curly sees Jud, jumps off the hay and pounces him. Curly notices that Jud is dead]
