The infamous "Sixth Man": The eight-man squad led by Dick Miller and Jonathan Haze goes to the cave and leaves the two-man bazooka team outside. Six men enter the cave, but when they reach the monster's lair, there are only five men. The missing sixth man never reappears.
Shortly after the power dies and Peter Graves' car stops, he and Sally Fraser start walking to Lee Van Cleef's house. They look up and see a plane explode. Graves asks Fraser for the time in case the police want them to be witnesses. However, they never bring up the plane crash to anyone, not even Van Cleef and Beverly Garland when they get to the house.
When Dr. Nelson stops the jeep, then attempts to shoot a flying creature, a sign in the bottom corner of the jeep's windshield reads, "No riders." As he drives away in the next shot, the sign has vanished.
When Peter Graves confronts the police chief who has just gunned down the newspaper editor, an extra accidentally steps into the scene in the background, realizes his mistake and quickly steps back out.
At the end of the film, when Dr.Nelson shoots the General and the two scientists, he completely misses the first scientist who dies nonetheless.
After the creature stops the hero's car and stops all electrical activity, you can see the courtesy light come on when he opens the door for his wife.
The tires squeal on the dirt road at the end of the film.

You can see the furniture castors that the creature is wheeled out on in several scenes.
In the beginning of the movie when the satellite is launched, the camera rolls back to reveal more of the control room. As it does, you can clearly hear the squeaky wheels of the camera dolly.
