The American Airlines plane Steve flies in at the beginning of the film is a 1948 Convair CV-240, registration N94249 named "Flagship Montezuma" - American's replacement of the Douglas DC-3. American sold it in 1961 and it flew with other airlines until it was scrapped in 1995.
This was Walter Pidgeon's final film under his MGM contract. He had been with the studio for 19 years.
Upon James Cagney exiting lawyer Leland G. Spottsford's office building, a theater marquee and film posters can be seen advertising Meet Me in Las Vegas (1956), which was the previous film directed by These Wilder Years (1956) director Roy Rowland.
