Buchanan Rides AloneGoofs

Obviously oscillating shadows in 3 successive scenes (all looking south) indicate poor continuity. As Juan de la Vega rides into town toward the Agry Saloon the shadows are toward the right indicating a morning shot. Right after Roy Agry is shot by Juan, the Sheriff and his men are seen running across the street toward the saloon; this time shadows are to the left (an afternoon shot) and there are clouds visible. A moment later Juan is shown running out of the Saloon and the shadows have switched back to the right (morning shot) and the sky has cleared up.
In the initial barroom brawl where Tom Buchanan (Randolph Scott) is beat up, the man hitting him is swinging and missing by several obvious inches, especially the last two punches before Buchanan drops to the floor.
After the climactic gunfight, with bodies all over the place, Craig Stevens is heard saying to Peter Whitney, "Don't just stand there, Amos, get a shovel." But one can clearly see Stevens say, "... get a spade".
Errors in geography
The story is supposed to be set in the California border town of Agry but the landscape is populated with the Sahauro cactus which only exist north of the Mexican border in the Sonoran Desert where it extends into Southern Arizona and the very distinctive jagged volcanic peaks of the Tucson Mountains are ever present in the background.
