This is the second of four films star Tony Curtis and director Blake Edwards made together. In order, they are: Mister Cory (1957), The Perfect Furlough (1958), Operation Petticoat (1959), and The Great Race (1965).
We even have his pre-Army record. He is the only high school student who was ever sued for breach of promise by his teacher.
While taking a bath at the country house, Lt. Loren is shown washing her hair, with her hair completely wet. A short time later she is shown out of the tub, but her hair is perfectly dry, and beautifully coiffed, including there being curls.
