Peter Alexander was a actor and singer of Austria.He appeared in many musical films,in that time. He also had a along running t.v. variety show in Austria.Peter plays a student,Keller, who works at a teenage night club with a modern swing band, which by 1959 standards was out of date,Since rock and roll was becoming the new music.There's a wealthy couple, Adrienne Pirkiner, played by Maria Sebalt,and Ferry Pirkiner, played by Heinz Konrad.Ferry has a bad temper and chases his friend and business deals away.The owner of the night club ,that Keller works in, knows the couple and gets Peter a extra job as a Chauffeur and to teach Ferry good manners.Ferry has to meet Business man Sam Manning,played by Oscar Zima, for a deal,at San Remo.Confusion happens when Ferry Bumps into manning, in the door way to the Hotel,not knowing he's the man he suppose to deal with, accusing Manning and hits him.Peter see it and quickly inform that the business man,he suppose to meet.So Peter pretends to hit Ferry in the face for self defense and ferry runs off,Pretensiously defending Manning.The confusion happens when Manning goes into the hotel room of Ferry's and opens the door to discover Peter.Manning thinking Peter is Ferry,not knowing he's the butler,now Peter has to play Ferry and Ferry has to pretend to be the butler in order to get the deal through.In the mist of confusion Peter meets Manning's daughter Daisy,in the pool area, not knowing that she is Manning's daughter.When peter is teaching Ferry how to drive, in a boat, they accidentally come to a scene where a women is hollering for help and falls out of a boat.Peter feels compel to jump out of his boat to save her.It turn out o be a movie being made, with European 3 strip color motion picture camera and a director,played by Rolf Olsen.By the time Peter save her that's when he discovers what it is and end up in a publicity photo for the news paper.He becomes a celebrity.Women chase him. But he doesn't like it.Manning invites The alleged Ferry,Peter and Adrienne and the real Ferry mow pretending to be a chauffeur.Well When they arrive ,Peter discovers that the girl he met is Manning's daughter.He tries to tell her that he's pretending for the deal.Then one night Manning catches the real Ferry and his wife in bed and asks all of them to leave. Peter tricks Daisy to go on a boat ride .He shows his passport and the real Ferry .She realizes then he's single.He has the whole mess straighten out to Manning.Daisy and Peter get Married.Of course there are musical number in between.
