  • Vincent Price's narration, dubbed into the American release, is the only worthwhile factor of this rarely seen Italian Mondo, which gives its viewers a look at medicine men, slavery, and headhunters, in Japan, India, and various locations in the Far East.

Add into that mix Snake charmers, and, in the film's most repulsive sequence, Laplanders drinking deer blood, and that's all there is to this one. (Said blood-drinking footage was later recycled for use in several other straight-to-video Mondos in the late 1980s, like Last Seconds Of Life)

Perhaps it is because I've watched a few Mondos lately and grown tired of them, but I found this to thoroughly boring, save for Vincent Price, who probably only did this film after losing a bet.
