The family pet was a large sheepdog, which had the unusual name of Ladadog.

One of the children had seen "Lad: A Dog" (1962) and named their sheepdog "Ladadog."

The sets used as the interior of the Nash family home in this series also appeared as Maurice Evans' mansion in the "Bridge of Lions" episode of TV's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964)
