    Continuity

Big Heap says "They've got three of my braves." However, four Indians have been seen to be shot and fall off their horses.
Jim Dale demolishes the desk in the Inquiries office, which ends with him putting the top back on and the Inquiries sign on it. The man behind the desk then leans on it, demolishing it again, but as Jim Dale leaves the office, the view from outside shows the desk top back in place, complete with the Inquiries sign.
At the start of the film, the Rumpo Kid has a gunfight with three men. When the Rumpo Kid starts to draw, he shoots his left gun into the ground and then shoots his right gun at the three men in front of him. After that, he waves both guns around, but never fires another shot. Three men fall down, apparently killed by the one shot from the Rumpo Kid's right gun.

    Miscellaneous

The government official tells 'Marshall Knutt' to go down the corridor to the Dept. Of Public Works. However, Knutt walks into an office very clearly marked Dept. Of Internal Affairs.

    Anachronisms

Towns in the "old west" didn't have sewer systems and certainly no manhole covers.
A snatch of 'America the Beautiful' is heard, but this song was first published many years after the setting of the film.
