When Mortimer slides the wanted poster under the door and knocks, the bad guy fires four times through the door. When the chase continues into the street, the bad guy fires six more times. However, he is carrying only one gun, which he did not have time to reload.
The title credits disappear as if being shot by a gun.
In 2003 the German TV network "Kabel 1" aired a restored and uncut version, identical with the one on US-DVD. All previously cut scenes had been redubbed and the movie was presented for the first time on German TV in its original 2.35:1 ratio.
