This film met with poor critical reception,being described as self-indulgent and dull.Now it will be of interest only for Françoise Hardy's fans :she was known as the "yeah yeah girl from Paris" and she was the only female singer who could write much of her material;and she became a respected artist which she is still today.
Filmed on location in Greece ,the movie offers nice landscapes,Sami Frey as the lead and of course Françoise Hardy who justifies the title for she dies at the end (Une Balle au Coeur= a bullet through the heart).The screenplay is very thin,essentially consisting of gangsters stuff ;it was probably meant to become a Greek tragedy but it falls short of its goal.
