On a blackboard in Kettering's office in the film you can see the squadron's name and number, Jasta 11. This was actually the name and number of Von Richthofen's Circus.
Countess Kaeti von Klugermann:

Bruno Stachel: Cobra?
Countess Kaeti von Klugermann: Yes. That's what Willi calls you.
Bruno Stachel: He's been talking about me to you?
Countess Kaeti von Klugermann: I asked. He says you'e quite, eh, deadly - in sort of a quiet way.
Bruno Stachel: He's a romantic.
Countess Kaeti von Klugermann: And you're not?

Stachel's aircraft changes from a Pfalz to a Tiger Moth after he makes his first kill.
It is believed that this film was at one time released in a 70 mm version (because of its six channel soundtrack), but this has never been confirmed.
