    Don Medford at his best.

This television series of the past is "last ditch effort" TV at its finest.

In Deutschland, such a series would be referred to as, "Ichmeinvostein", translated means, "a quick effort".

Although Medford could have done more with more time, this will do.

Let's hope for some reruns, yeah?

    Warning: Spoilers
Avoid this movie like the plague. It is an incredibly dreary, excruciating and slow moving crime melodrama, complete with bad performances, crummy photography and lousy direction.

In fact, there is not a single good thing you can say about it. In the U.S.A., it was shown only on television. But in other countries such as England and Australia, it was booked into ritzy, first-run theaters, despite the fact that it was savaged by the critics and all but booed off the screen by unsuspecting patrons.

The "Monthly Film Bulletin" gives the film's running time as 78 minutes, but the print I viewed in London seemed to run forever. Only two patrons were left in the auditorium when the movie finally came to its dreary end. I was one of them. I kept hoping that the movie was going to improve and finally come to a bang-up climax! No such luck.

When the lights came on, only two people were left in the vast auditorium. One of them was me. The other was fast asleep!
