Although Lionel Stander's establishment is located in Monument Valley, the interiors were shot at Cinecittà. Cheyenne's men enter with a cloud of red dust. The red dust was imported from the Monument Valley location.

At around 1:20 in the movie, when Frank is in the train with Morton and the mexican-looking man, we can clearly see the tie on Frank's hat is on his right side when he sees Harmonica's shadow on the roof. The next scene, it's on his left.
The film's title does not appear until the end of the final scene.
