Gerald Otley, wannabe antiques dealer, is kicked out of his flat for failing to pay rent, sleeps at a friend's home for the night, wakes up two days later in an airport field, and finds himself entangled in international espionage.
This movie was made and released about two years after its source novel of the same name by Martin Waddell was first published in 1966. 'Otley' was Waddell's first published novel and this is the only ever filmed adaptation for the cinema from a story or stories by the writer. The other three, all first published in the next consecutive years, include 'Otley Pursued' (1967), 'Otley Forever' (1968), and 'Otley Victorious' (1969).

You know, dear, I always thought that colonic irrigation was something to do with agriculture.
