Milo is a boy who is bored with life. One day he comes home to find a toll booth in his room. Having nothing better to do, he gets in his toy car and drives through - only to emerge in a world full of adventure.
The film credits say this was produced in 1970. But young Butch Patrick, who is still very diminutive and short and has not changed his voice yet, is clearly only about 13 or 14 tops. (Which means part of it was probably filmed from about 64-68, which was about the same time he was filming the Munsters).
And what have we here? Aha! I see! Breakfast!
Milo: Wait! I have a better idea!
Gelatinous Giant: An idea? Ugh, if there's one thing I can't swallow, it's an idea!
Milo: Well, it just so happens that I have a bag full of all the ideas in the world, right here!
Gelatinous Giant: NO! No no no! Don't ...
In the live action scenes Milo's eyes are blue, but in the animated world his eyes are brown.
The closing "THE END" zooms in as the last shot freezes into a still. The closing title (in one line) and "An MGM Picture" appear shortly before fading to black a second later.
