A working class man constantly squabbles with his family over the important issues of the day.
ABC is bringing back two classic sitcoms with "Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's 'All in the Family' and 'The Jeffersons'" starting Woody Harrelson, Jamie Foxx, and more.
In the original pilot, the title of the show was "Those Were The Days". At the same time a song with the same name by Mary Hopkin was a big hit. When a new pilot was developed, CBS decided to change the title yet kept the theme song titled "Those Were The Days".
He took a jawbone from the grass and slew the Palestine army.
Mike is shown being a college student in the 1970s. Assuming that he went to college straight from high school (or even after an open year) he would still be in his early 20s when the series began. Rob Reiner is clearly older than the character would be and he seems to be a very poor student as it takes him nearly six years to complete college (despite going full time) only to obtain a job that would require just a four-year degree.
When episodes air on TV, they are trimmed to fit the alotted time. The complete versions are available on video and DVD.
