  • Not as bad as the average vehicle for Mr. Dull himself: Roy Black, but still not very entertaining either. Great comic Theo Lingen tries to make something out of this insipid farce, but against this poor material even hìs talents our powerless. And just when after an hour you begin to think (and hope) that Mr. Dull is not going to sing, he strikes back with 2 songs within 10 minutes, the villain. I do not know who had the last laugh, but I did not have a first one to start with. For the real die-hard fan (what is his state of mind?) of Roy Black only.
  • A fun little movie with Roy Black to carry it. Some other known and good actors from that era. Some fun pranks, some not so fun - and the jokes are hit and miss too. The story moves along nicely though and if you buy into the (thinly drawn) characters you'll have fun.

If you like Roy Black and his feel good persona anyway you'll like the movie too. I don't think there are twists in here that will surprise people, but then again maybe they do especially towards the end.
