eh
I just recently saw the TV movie version of Go Ask Alice and I would much more recommend the book version. the acting and overall quality is off, as well as the story simply not told as well. things are left out and mixed around. it is a wonderful story that i believe everyone should hear, and most all age groups seem to enjoy it. It is just much more of a personal feeling to read the book. You get more out of the the entire story. If you're looking for a "drug movie" that hits you hard, I suggest you see Requiem For A Dream. it too is based on a book, but both book and film are equally as powerful. i hope this comment has been at least a little helpful in your decision about the movie, but by all means read it and see the movie, do both and decide for yourself.
