David Foster and Katharine McPhee aren’t doing much to deflate those dating rumors.
The duo, who have maintained they’re simply good friends, stepped out together in West Hollywood on Monday for a night on the town.
The 33-year-old American Idol alum donned a chic all-black ensemble, including leather pants and a cozy long sweater, for the outing, accessorizing with brown booties and a white purse. Foster, 68, sported blue jeans with a black blazer over a button-down shirt.

David Foster and Katharine McPhee were photographed walking arm-in-arm in Brentwood, California, over the weekend — a month after multiple sources told People the “colleagues, collaborators and longtime friends” are not dating.
During the outing, Foster and McPhee, 33, were also spotted at an Atm, where the latter placed her hand on the 67-year-old’s behind.
However, a source close to the couple tells People that the platonic pair are merely having “some fun” at the expense of photographers.

Richard Condon and John Huston’s show is like a gangland version of Moonstruck, bouncing effortlessly between earnest romanticism and cynical satire. Hit man Jack Nicholson is a brass-knuckle Romeo, and Kathleen Turner’s mysterious bicoastal Juliet has nothing but surprises for him. Near the end of his career, Huston’s direction is as assured as can be.

Ian Brady, one of the most notorious murderers in British and world history, has died. He was 79.
Brady, who was called the “Moors murderer,” died on Monday at Merseyside’s Ashworth Hospital, a high-security hospital where he had been held since 1985.
“We can confirm a 79-year-old patient in long-term care at Ashworth High Secure Hospital has died after becoming physically unwell,” a Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust spokesman confirmed to multiple U.K. news outlets.
From 1963 to 1965, Brady and his then-girlfriend Myra Hindley killed a string of children and buried them on the Yorkshire moors after sexually torturing their victims.

Netflix already has a four-film deal in place with Adam Sandler, and now, the streaming video platform has picked up a film featuring a frequent Sandler co-star. Kevin James, who most recently appeared in the critically-savaged sequel Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, will star in The True Memoirs Of An International Hit Man, which Netflix has acquired.
In True Memoirs, James plays an author who must flee to Belize after he is mistaken for an assassin. While James’ auspicious filmography, Mall Cop 2’s 6% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and the recent issues that have plagued Netflix’s other comedy film projects may make potential viewers less than excited about True Memoirs, the film does have a few enticing elements going for it. Its director, Jeff Waldow, led superhero sequel Kick Ass 2, and its script, written by Jeff Morris, comes from Hollywood’s Black List, which notes the best unproduced screenplays of each year.

In the spirit of Big Brother ’s Sweet 16 season, quite a few milestones were reached on Wednesday’s live finale.
For one, the season ender resulted in a rare Final Two duo that had been planning this moment since the very beginning. Big Brother is a long game — at 97 days, this season clocks in at the longest ever — and with so many variables at play, it’s not often that a Final Two deal is seen through, making Derrick and Cody’s accomplishment even more impressive.
But the 90-minute broadcast was full of much, much more than Derrick’s ultimate victory.

Paul Ready's Hit man Lee comes to the fore in Utopia’s latest mystery and violence-filled episode…
Review
This review contains spoilers.
Of the many riddles we’ve been set by Utopia’s Sphinx-like second series, one is yet to be asked: what’s Lee’s story? Episode three belonged to Paul Ready’s hit man in the acid yellow suit, but unlike Arby and Jessica, we still don’t know the first thing about his origins. Some mysteries, we suppose, need to be saved for a potential third series – if, that is, Lee survives for that long on Arby’s shit list.
The sharp-suited psycho opened the episode by committing the most unfazed, unflappable TV murder since Lorne Malvo left our screens. Lee’s soft-spoken, genial approach to villainy is pure Utopia; comical, nasty and unsettling. Never one to rush, even with a gun pointed at his head...

Hot off the press releases!
This one is a bit odd, because I’ve read spec screenplays about the payola scandal Joe Isgro was involved in and how the government kind of screwed itself. The script I read back in the day was more about a Forrest Gump romp through different eras, but it sounds like this new film is going to be either a memoir pic or a straight biopic.
Anywho, Isgro, if you haven’t heard of him was a producer/promoter that had some organized crime connections. It sounds like he’s pairing with a writer to do this biopic, but it’s unclear if any indie production house or major studio is circling or attached.

WWE and 2K Games have finally made the long-awaited roster announcement for their upcoming WWE 2K14 video game, boasting a surprisingly beefy line-up of over 80 superstars. In addition to the 30 Years of WrestleMania roster already announced, we were given a full list of the WWE Superstars and Divas who would be filling out 2K Games’ first time publishing a wrestling game (albeit still with the same developers as before, Yukes).
It’s safe to say that, as in every year, there are a few notable omissions from the roster – Curtis Axel, Rob Van Dam, Big E. Langston, The Usos, Fandango, and the Wyatt Family are conspicuously absent, while the likes of David Otunga somehow make the cut… – yet we can keep our fingers crossed that they might show up in Dlc somewhere down the line (though developers have already stated on Twitter that the Wyatts will 100% not be Dlc, because...

The first WWE videogame since Thq’s demise and 2K Sports’ gain is a little over a month away and the entire roster has finally been unveiled. A chunk of WWE 2K14‘s roster for the “30 Years of WrestleMania” mode was revealed earlier this year during the summer, which included legends and wrestlers we haven’t seen in a WWE game in a number a years.
Below is the entire WWE 2K14 roster featuring current and legendary wrestlers. It could be one of the most impressive wrestling game rosters in the past few years.
Aj Lee Aksana Brodus Clay Christian Cody Rhodes Damien Sandow David Otunga Dean Ambrose Drew McIntyre Eddie Guerrero Heath Slater Jack Swagger Jinder Mahal Justin Gabriel Kaitlyn Kane Kofi Kingston Layla Lita Mark Henry Mr. McMahon Natalya R-Truth Roman Reigns Santino Marella Seth Rollins Sheamus Sin Cara Stephanie McMahon Tensai The Great Khali Titus O’Neil...

SummerSlam! The biggest party of the summer, and the WWE’s second biggest pay per view event after Wrestlemania. The show which has been running annually since 1988 has always been a highlight for any wrestling fans calendar. That’s not to say that every match has been a classic. In fact, some have been downright stinkers. But hell, would we be able to truly appreciate the all time classic matches like The British Bulldog’s win against Bret Hit Man Hart from SummerSlam 1992 or Edge vs. The Undertaker from 2008 had we not been treated to matches with the likes of Giant Gonzales in? The bad allows us to appreciate the good, and put perspective on it.
So here are the top five worst matches in SummerSlam history. Not an easy list to compile, and whilst it was very hard to include the classic Marty Janetty vs. Ludvig Borga match on...

Bret Hart has had a long and historied wrestling career, from his early days in his fathers promotion Stampede Wrestling, to his time in the WWE and the controversial Montreal Screwjob in 1997; from his days in WCW to his return to the WWE in 2010, Bret Hart is also one of the most famous wrestlers of the past three decades and this new Blu-ray collection shows why…
Bret Hart is an “interesting” character. One of the greatest stars of the WWE during the 80s and early 90s, Hart was – much like John Cena, Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker – one of those superstars that could do no wrong. No matter whether he was face or heel, Hart had his fans and they loved him. But then along came the Attitude era, his personal problems (including a severe concussion in 1999 which led to his October 200 retirement), his much-publicised falling out with WWE Chairman...

I came across this 1975 Polish poster for Richard Lester’s The Three Musketeers the other day and was struck by how contemporary it looks, seemingly playing off the aesthetic of Austin Radcliffe’s hugely influential Things Organized Neatly Tumblr. Things Organized Neatly curates photographs of, well, exactly what it says, and though it covers a broad field, the overriding look is a flat arrangement of objects as if on a table photographed from directly above, like these collections of video game ephemera or men’s fall accessories or things that are blue . The idea plays off old technical illustrations like this 19th century print of surgical instruments.
Often Ton features disassemblies in which things are broken down into their composite parts and carefully arranged—like this motorcycle or this inkjet printer—which is really what this poster is doing: distilling Richard Lester’s all-star swashbuckling romp into its salient inanimate objects.

Wrestling is like Marmite. You either love it or you hate it. I fall firmly into the former camp, having grown up being aware of the old Saturday afternoon World of Sport wrestling with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks back in the late 1970s before really falling hook, line and smackdown for it after accidentally discovering the WWF (as it was known then) at the start of the 1990s.
This was the era of Hulk Hogan, Randy 'Macho Man' Savage, Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake and the like, but it was also the beginning of the ascension of Vince McMahon's empire and the birth of the grappling epoch that would bring us the superstars that we revere today. The Hollywood studios let it ride at the box office this past weekend, betting on the films already in the market rather than rolling out new ones. They won. The post-Thanksgiving weekend, traditionally a bone yard at the box office, was up 45 percent over last year. That's despite the fact there were only two wide-releases – Brad Pitt's "Killing Them Softy" and horror film "The Collection." And both tanked. The fact that the down and dirty British gangster classic Get Carter is playing tonight at Anthology Film Archives in New York, as part of William Lustig Presents, is really just an excuse to show this magnificent poster as a tribute to its artist, who passed away this September at the age of 85. Arnaldo Putzu was an Italian illustrator who lived in Britain for almost twenty years and who, according to his Guardian obituary by Sim Branaghan, was the most in-demand poster illustrator in the country in the 1970s.
Born in Rome in 1927, Putzu studied art at the Rome Academy and was working in Milan at the age of 21 when he met the great poster artist Enrico de Seta who brought him back to Rome to work in the thriving Italian film industry. He worked at Cinecittà throughout the 1950s and early 60s, often illustrating Italy’s voluptuous starlets. (According to Branaghan,...

Director Richard Kelly and Nicolas Cage are combining their talents in the upcoming production Amicus; a crime thriller based on a true story.
Cage is set to play Rodney Smolla, a First Amendment lawyer who wound up slap bang in the middle of a bizarre tale involving Lawrence Horn, a motown record producer who hired a hit man to off his family.
While at first the idea of Kelly and Cage committing to a straight-forward legal grappling sounds a bit dull, the plot twists as supplied by Variety in their synopsis suggest it will be anything but ordinary.
You can check out the full summary below:
“[Amicus] is based on the true story of Lawrence Horn, a former record producer and Motown Records exec who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for hiring Detroit-based hit man James Perry to murder his wife, quadriplegic son and the wealthy family’s...

There's no question that director Richard Kelly has given us some pretty imaginative movies over the past decade, from Donnie Darko to Southland Tales to The Box. While the quality of his output has been pretty uneven, he continues to offer up wildly original ideas and it's always interesting to see what he might have in mind for his next project. Although we thought his next movie was going to be a thriller called Corpus Christi with Edgar Ramirez attached to star, this week it appears that something else is taking priority instead. Kelly is now in the process of teaming up with Nicolas Cage for Amicus, a courtroom drama based on a bizarre true story. Intrigued? Hit the jump for the full plot synopsis. According to Variety, Nicolas Cage will play Rodney A. Smolla, a First Amendment lawyer who took on a lawsuit over a book that was allegedly...

Nicolas Cage and filmmaker Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko, The Box) are teaming up for the true crime thriller titled Amicus that spans over 25 years and follows the bizarre aftermath of a brutal murder.
Amicus, which refers to the term ‘amicus curiae,’ a person not directly engaged with a case who’s allowed to advise the court, revolves around Lawrence Horn, a former music producer who was sentenced to death for hiring a hitman to murder his wife, quadriplegic son, and night nurse in their Silver Springs, Maryland mansion.
It was later discovered that Perry had consulted the Paladin Press book ‘Hit Man: A Technical Manual for Independent Contractors’ to plan the triple-murder, which lead to the victims’ families filing a class-action lawsuit against the publisher.
Kelly will scribe and direct with Cage playing Rodney A. Smolla, a First Amendment attorney who seemingly went up his personal and professional principles...

Mumbai, Sep 21: Emraan Hashmi's recent run of success at the box office has people calling him 'Hit Man Hashmi' and the actor says it is better than being called serial kisser.
"It's better than serial kisser. Please give me that term ('Hit Man Hashmi'), and everyone use that because I am sick of 'serial kisser'. I think 'Hit man Hashmi' is something I would take right now. I can use it for my entire career," the 33-year-old said.

What appear to a monologue documentary illuminates the elephant in the room. We are the killers. .El Sicario. is the first hand account of a man born, bred, groomed, trained and educated to be the guy you least want to see in your life. If you see him at PTA meetings or community fund raisers, that is fine. If you see him on matters of business, he is the grim reaper come to exact vengeance. The worst of the latter scenario is that when you see him coming you know exactly what you have done to deserve it. The documentary.s screenplay is based on the Harper.s Magazine article by Charles Bowden, .The Sicario: A Juarez Hit Man,. and .El...

People say revenge is a dish best served cold. But we at TVLine are of the mindset that Revenge is actually an addictive new primetime soap premiering this Wednesday (ABC, 10/9c) starring the immensely likeable Emily VanCamp (Brothers & Sisters) as a quick-witted young woman seeking vengeance — of the no-holds-barred variety! — for the unjust demise of her father.
We spoke with some of the series’ stars, who vow to exact revenge on those who don’t tune in — no, not really. But they did reveal reasons why Revenge is as sweet as the old adage says it is.

Previously on Torchwood, Captain Jack had some vertical and horizontal-type gay sex, which didn’t please most of you as much as the titillating media foreplay that proceeded it. Post-coital he called Gwen to talk about their complicated love affair, but she shut him down because she, like us, was over that shit after Series One. Esther proved herself competent as a sleuth/hacker, while Rex proved himself soulless. Good thing that have a mask for that these days.
