Asha Parekh's last film as a young heroine, which she shot when she was thirty. It was not an easy time for her, since her frequent director and boyfriend Nasir Hussain stopped giving her lead heroine roles that same year, because of her age. He gave the lead heroine role to Zeenat Aman in Procession of Memories (1973) and offered the secondary role to Asha, who rejected it. Nevertheless, the "Hit Girl" as she was called, since she starred in many hit films, ended her career as a lead heroine in a burst of glory, since "Heera" was a hit film. After this film, she did senior roles and supporting roles. She titled her 2017 memoir "The Hit Girl".
