The final battle scene where the English army is visible in shot was filmed in Stirling on the rear of Dumyat, one of the Ochil hills, close to the now closed Sheriffmuir Inn.
Every time someone falls from the Bridge of Death, the exact same footage of someone falling is reused.
On the Regions 2 and 4 DVD's (Europe and Australasia) release, the end credits are extended to three minutes (rather than 20 seconds) of a black screen with the intermission music.
