This is actually a real disaster movie. Everything goes wrong - for the director. There's no plot, no drama, no romance: a true disaster - movie!

The movie promises to be great family entertainment and set a cozy Christmas atmosphere. However the composition is totally bonkers, with many random scenes thrown in which have absolutely no ties to what little there is of the main storyline. This makes for an anodyne, confusing and frustrating experience. The movie pretends to want to take you on a great journey, but never gets you anywhere.

Supposedly this movie is riddled with famous actors... however the only one who doesn't seem to be a robot or isn't grotesquely overplaying his part is the minister (Played by Poul Bundgård), who actually manages to make his character come to life in a meaningful way. However this is not at all enough to save the movie.

The most interesting thing about this movie was that it made us discuss the danish sense of nationality and found that it is comparable to a small monkey in the corner of the room, playing with itself.
