What's the first thing on any man's mind when he's freshly released from prison? Sex, of course! But what about the second, and third, and fourth? Most people would say a decent meal or a proper job, but in the case of ultimately perverted freak Rocky De Sade it's exclusively sex; the sicker the better. Alex de Renzy's "Femmes de Sade" is somewhat of a masterpiece in its own secluded and often neglected category. It's a rough and brutal 70's porn/horror movie with an adequate storyline, decent character drawings and sadistic hardcore material. Rocky (his last name is of course a fabulous homage to the legendary infamous marquis) walks out of the prison gates, promptly invites himself to the house of a fellow inmate and barbarically rapes his girlfriend. He then immediately dives into the big city's nightlife, looking for more prostitutes to satisfy his sexual hunger and oppressed appetite for violence. The impressively postured and sick-spirited ex-con physically and mentally abuses a whole series of girls, until they combine forces and plot a vile & humiliating payback during a private orgy party. The film's powerful impact principally relies on Ken Turner's deranged performance as Rocky. This guy almost naturally radiates pure maliciousness & emotional nihilism, and he's literally as big as a house! And very flexible, too, as demonstrated during the jaw-dropping scene in which he orally "pleasures" himself and uncannily forces a girl to do the same. There's a parallel storyline, admittedly just to stretch the running time a little, about an adult video store clerk fantasizing about the all the women that pass by his store. The finale is short but sweet, and you should truly prepare yourself to witness a LOT of filth, including bestiality, urinal sex and even scat. Demented 70's smut, highly recommend to all you sick puppies out there.

HumanoidOfFlesh3 February 2006A particularly nasty '70s roughie,the unedited version of this de Renzy's sickie is nearly impossible to find.The plot involves the monstrous Rocky DeSade running around San Francisco and brutalizing the local working girls;they eventually take revenge on this creep by staging a fetish party and making him pay via pissing,hard-core S/M and even a little scat added for the good measure.This grainy and sadistic porno truly has to be seen to be believed,especially the sequence when Rocky sucks his own penis.The scat scene is very disgusting,albeit clearly fake.The porno scenes are well-filmed and the film is loaded with incredibly seedy atmosphere."Femmes de Sade" is very hard to find as is "Animal Lover" with famous Danish bestiality performer Bodil Joensen,but if you get a chance watch them both.8 out of 10.

mindseye10021 July 2002Alex De Renzy was one of only a handful of porn directors that were gifted enough to have their own visual style, something that sadly, dissapeared in his later work once hardcore features began to be shot on video. Femmes de Sade, in it's uncut form (Tough to find) is one of my favorite 70's XXX films. It's just so messed up and vile! A huge deranged pervert gets out of jail and bums a ride with a fellow inmate who has also been released, and has been picked up by his girlfriend. Needless to say, it does not end up nicely for her. I don't want to give up too much about the film in case you actually ever get to see it, but the scene where the gigantic sex-freak sucks his own wang, and then tries to force an unwilling female to give herself oral sex is one of the most unnerving scenes in adult film history. Alex De Renzy, you will be missed.

What we have here in Femmes De Sade is one of the best and sleaziest porno flicks the world has ever seen. And most of the praise should be given to the lead character in the film Rocky De Sade. He's a 7 foot tall walking bag of sleaze with a behemoth of a dong in his undies. He's rude, crude, mean, ugly, badass, funny, and even lovable in a ogreish type of way. His look and demeanor in this film is what it's all about. If you want to experience a sleazy character look no further. But beware, Rocky may find you attractive and I'm not so sure you'd want that.
Obviously the entire movie isn't focused around Mr. Sleaze, there are other characters and other lil side plots. We also follow a nympho maniac as he rudely daydreams about sexy situations with the people he's talking with. Mr. Nympho and Rocky eventually meet towards the end of the film, and it's one hell of an ending.
If you're like me and find films like Water Power and Thundercrack! to be great entertainment then Femmes De Sade is for you. It's one of the best skin flicks from the 70s you can find. With Rocky leading the pack and a plethora of babes and dongs, this is class A entertainment. -
Excellent and erotic porno "roughie" from master filmmaker Alex de Renzy, who was one of the few 70's skinflick directors who knew how to make something resembling a real film. This is both erotic and grotesque. When Joey Silvera gets out of jail, he heads home to bang his girlfriend and, for some crazy reason, agrees to take recently released jailbird, Rocky de Sade (Ken Turner), with him. Once Silvera is through banging his girl, Turner assaults him and rapes her, thus beginning a vicious and repulsive rape spree. Meanwhile, John Leslie, who manages a porno bookstore, fantasizes about the pretty women who wander into his store. One fantasy, set on a boat, features Leslie and a couple of greasy cohorts engaging in wild, oily sex in the boat's engine room. The only sound accompanying this volcanic sequence is the vessel's churning engine. De Penzy has a great eye and ear for the erotic and delivers some sizzling hot material in this film. He cuts between the hideous Turner abusing and raping various women and Leslie's wild fantasies. Eventually, Turner wanders into Leslie's bookstore and the two plots finally converge. A reasonably infamous film, it features Turner sucking his own penis, Turner getting urinated on, and Turner being defecated on and being smeared with the stuff. The auto-erotic scene is a jaw-dropping experience and more bizarre than the famous scene in "Fascination" in which Ron Jeremy also swallows and ministers to himself. The film's final sequence is an orgy that is everything "Eyes Wide Shut" was not and surely influenced the work of Rinse Dream ("Cafe Flesh") and Greg Dark ("New Wave Hookers", "Sex Freaks"). Well shot, skilfully directed, and featuring some of porn's most stunning women, "Femmes de Sade" earned and has retained its holy place in the pantheons of porn.

EVOL66613 December 2006FEMMES DE SADE is up their with the most notable of the XXX-roughies as it contains all the elements that fans of this sort of thing love - tons of sleaze, a decent storyline, and some truly smokin' sex scenes. A lot of these films fail on one or all levels, but this one "nails" it all dead-on.
Mammoth and masochistic monster Rocky De Sade (Ken Turner) is released from prison and immediately starts in on his old antics. He starts by kicking the sh!t out of Joey Silvera (a fellow inmate who was also released) and raping his girlfriend after Joey and his ol' lady were nice enough to give Rocky a ride. He then goes on a rampage of whore-abuse, which doesn't sit well with the local working-girls. A parallel plot concerns a compulsively fantasizing porn-shop owner who is friends with all the local hookers. The two story lines converge when Rocky "invites himself" to a fetish-ball being held by one of the store-owner's pals. When the store-owner's hooker/girlfriend is roughed-up pretty bad by Rocky - they plot revenge on the giant madman. Sure enough, Rocky shows up lookin' to get his kinky groove on, but the tables are turned when during the sex-play, Rocky is shackled, dildoed in the ass, peed and pooped on - which is then smeared all over him. Personally, I think they could've done a little better on the whole "revenge" thing...
Some truly classic material in FEMMES DE SADE - most notably the oft-mentioned self-bone-sucking from Turner (complete with licking his own jizz...) and the hilarious conclusion to the scene as Turner tries to show the whore he's with how to giver herself head. The fetish-party/orgy where the girls get their vengeance on Rocky is equally effective as all sorts of steamy and subversive sex is on display - including a woman getting head from a Dalmatian(!). The casting of Turner in the lead role is absolutely perfect, as the guy looks and acts like a total whackadoo. His dialog is both mean-spirited and hilarious - I truly couldn't see this role played any more effectively by anyone else, save for maybe Andre The Giant. The acting in general is all quite good, and there's an aura of professionalism to the whole project that also stands out against it's gritty grindhouse atmosphere. A definite classic of rough-porn history, and a must-see for fans of this sort of material...9/10 -
In one of Joey Silvera's first roles, you can see why he's had such a long career. The plot and production value are things you just don't see in pornos anymore. While the film is downright corny at times (the asian hot tub scene had me out of breathe from laughter), the sex is very believable. Camera angles and cuts are to be admired while the dialogue is just silly enough to make you laugh. This is a flick that you can watch with your partner if they've got an open mind and sense of humor. The corniness is spot-on for a porno while the sex is hardcore and very kinky. If the acting wasn't as campy as it is, some scenes would've come off as too disturbing. This film strikes the right balance between realistic sex and silly plot points that will have the viewer going back-and-forth between being turned on and laughing hysterically.

Alex de Renzy's notorious and sleazy porno has Rocky DeSade (Ken Turner) raping his friend's woman before he heads off and starts stalking various hookers. He sexually and physically abuses them but they plan for some revenge when he shows up to a S&M party.
FEMMES DE SADE is a film that has a pretty wild reputation and there's no question that it lives up to it. I had heard all sorts of things about this film but you can never be quite prepared until you actually sit down and watch it. The most amazing thing is that de Renzy manages to put the viewer through all sorts of different feelings while watching this film, which really wasn't an easy thing to do.
Case in point, the opening scene has a man being released from prison and finally being able to get it on with his girlfriend. This sequence just comes across very real and at the same time it was weirdly erotic. You follow this up with a violent rape sequence and you really start to realize that this film isn't going to be shy about anything. We get all sorts of notorious scenes including Turner performing oral sex on himself so he can show a hooker how to do it.
Then, of course, there's what happens at the S&M party, which is just wild to say the least. What starts out as an orgy quickly takes a very dark and disgusting turn. I wouldn't say that Turner gave a great performance but it was certainly a raw one and there's no question that he fit the role perfectly. You really can see him as this dirty monster and it certainly sells the plot.
FEMMES DE SADE is certainly one of the most memorable adult films out there even though it certainly won't be for everyone.
