Strange Masquerade

I nearly travelled to London to see this film as the reviews were so complimentary but I was lucky enough to catch it on BBC2.

The transformation of the scruffy soldier into a beautiful woman who works as a maid was a sudden shock. The severity of the temperatures and the dangers outside the hospital were conveyed and the subtitle dialogue added to the sense of other worldliness.

I loved it and would like to have it on video.
