Then things go wrong

An intense drama about lower and upper classes, poorness, and strong loving conflicts, including nudism, as usual at the time, known for Destape. It displays gorgeous Andalucia landscapes under musical background of notorious singers as Hilario Camacho, Triana, Lole y Manuel. Special mention for the breathtaking dance performed by an expert Flamenco Bailaora on a tomb at the local cemetery. Being based on the homonymous novel by Manuel Halcon of the Spanish Real Academy. Starring trio are pretty well, Charo Lopez, Fernando Rey and Maximo Valderde. Being finely assisted by a nice support cast, such as : Mario Pardo, Carmen Platero, Fernando Sanchez Polack, Paloma Cela, Maria Vico, Luis Barboo and Victor Israel.

It contains a gorgeous cinematography by expert cameraman Raul Artigot. As well as evocative musical score with Andalucian songs from Lole and Manuel, the band Triana, Hilario Camacho, Giralberto Garcia, Diego de Moron, among others. The motion picture was originally directed by Gonzalo Garcia Pelayo. He is a professional director who has made some films dealing with Sevillan people and usually adding erotic scenes, Andalucian habits and typical music and Flamenco dance . As Gonzalo has directed the following ones : Vivir en Sevilla, Nueve Sevillas, Rocio y Jose, Corridas de alegria, Niñas, Copla, and Intercambio de parejas frente al mar, Todo es de color . Rating : 6/10. Passable and acceptable.
