Three brothers are separated and united after many years - one is brought up a Hindu, another a Muslim and the last (and most memorable) a Christian. Hilarity and adventure ensues.
The next lesser known fact is from one of the songs from the movie. We are referring to the song 'My name is Anthony Gonsalves...' Audience loves to listen to the song even today, especially, the starting lines which go, 'Sophisticated rhetorician intoxicated with the exuberance of your own verbosity,' uttered by Anthony after he emerges from the huge Easter egg. The words are quotation from a speech given by Benjamin Disraeli in 1878.
Anthony Gonzalves:
No way, father! I won't go to the police station. I look like a conman even though I'm not. If I go there, they'll probably arrest me instead.
In some scenes, the characters say there separated 22 years back while in some scenes, they say 25.
British Television Premiere of this film had the song 'Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein' cut from the film. Shown on 3rd July 1983.
