Age Barriers

This movie was made during Googoosh's peak days (i.e. one year prior to the Islamic revolution in Iran).

It tells the story of an artist (Googoosh), who just came out of a broken relationship. Her neighborer is a young man, who is obsessed with her voice & beauty. He begins to chase her wherever she goes until she falls in love with him. Then she comes to discover a shocking thing about him & you need to see the film to know that.

Googoosh excels as usual in her role.

The film starts withe light drama & ends in a heavier one. Some bits of Googoosh's songs are thrown here & there in the film, and they do add a good taste to the melodramatic plot.

Not to be missed for Googoosh's fans

do you surprised if know that almost all of Persian found this film with a such simple story so attractive and it is now after 40 year in their memory?do you want an answer? it is based on our main cultural axis:enjoy but keep in your mind that the end of all earthly enjoyable beauties one same thing and it is death our very famous poem Omar Khayyam Neishabury said :when the curtain fall we no me no you are not alive and this philosophy come to our Greatest poem we are very proud of him and he deserve it-Hafiz poets as:the secret of flowers extremely beautiful but ephemeral and transient flower is esteemed and make the most of its being that it come alive to garden and will be gone very soon we as an ancient civilized people have a very painful historical experience-unfortunately does not come to end!-that this dramatic philosophy is its consequence
