Pancham's 'Tum ho mere dil ki dhadkan' (from the film Manzil) begins almost exactly like Procol Harem's 'A whiter shade of Pale' (AWSoP)! But wait, the two tunes are very very different per se, its just the music at the very beginning (played in organ) of Procol Harem's number that seems to have attracted RDB immensely, that he used it to create in his own way, the way Tum ho meri's vocals start! And a mandatory search on the net revealed that there are many more people who acknowledge such a similarity!
