An interesting French-Belgian co-production .A political thriller with Jorge Luis Borges accents ,which is not surprising,since both the director and the writer are from Argentina.
Nathalie Baye portrays an interpret in charge of an inquest after the death of a writer whereas the sadly missed Philippe Leotard plays a powerful person with multiple identities.He also portrays his killer,which will remind many viewers of Borges ' "Theme of the traitor and the hero" .Director Jacques Rivette is featured as Marcel Jeaucourt,the unfortunate victim;his favorite actress,Bulle Ogier,plays also a supporting part.
