Lesley Ann Warren is one of those actresses who can make a weak story look good. She has that rare charisma quality that many actresses lack today. Here she plays a struggling mother who is torn between stripping and wondering what kind of an effect it will have on her kid. The only reason to watch this is to see Lesley, but I am a huge fan of hers as I feel she has never been given the credit she deserves although she finally did get much notice for "Victor Victoria". Even today she is underutilized and still beautiful.
