A group of camp counselors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp which was the site of a child's drowning and a grisly double murder years before.
Steve Christie goes through a sketch book of Alice Hardy's early in the film. Adrienne King is an artist in real life, which inspired Cunningham and Miller to add it to the script.

When Marcie is in the bathroom stall, we see that she has painted toenails, but if you look closely when she pushes Ned into the lake earlier, you can see her toenails are unpainted.
We see giant letters proclaiming 'Friday the 13th' moving towards the screen and crashing into and smashing a pane of glass.
