During World War II, the British must attack a German ship, but it's safe in neutral Goa. As a result, they send civilians: former soldiers who are about sixty years old.
Glyn Houston says in his memoirs, he was cast after the producer saw him in an episode of Shoestring (1979), playing an "Army type".

Amongst the vehicles the team uses at Goa is a grey Hillman Minx of a type not marketed until at least 1953.
