| A Book And Personal Computer That Serves Like The Holy Scriptures
"Superbook",which is known as "Anime oyako gekijô", is a two-season anime series wherein a book and a personal computer serves as a Holy Scriptures to the main characters namely Christopher Peeper, Joy Podinski, and the robot Gizmo as well as Uriah Peeper and the dog Ruffles are taken back in time of Ancient Israel wherein they meet Biblical prophets, judges, and kings. They also get to witness as the story of the Holy Scriptures unfold on their own eyes or when one was looking for a missing dog.

The first season obviously have Chris,Joy and the robot Gizmo taken back in time to see different people in the Bible from the time of Adam and Eve to the Garden of Eden until the time of the conversion of Saint Paul. Meanwhile, the second season stars Uriah who starts to look for Ruffles as the stories of the Bible unfold.

No question that the anime remains timeless just like the stories of the BIble. We get to see the people learn Christian values as they get to witness events unfold particularly Chris and Joy with the robot Gizmo appearing as adult guide. As for Uriah, I think that she just happens to meet the characters and just becomes busy looking for the missing dog. Apparently, there was a criticism made after the first season wherein they wanted the stories to the Bible to remain intact. Although Uriah does not fully see nor realize the events unfolding, the viewers remain witness to the events with Christian values imparted.
