In the opening scene, the credits are painted on items within the set, including the bottom of a horse's hoof.
For its DVD release, the film elements were digitally transferred for restoration work. The digital transfer was also subjected to some CGI alterations. The most prominent of these was the changing of some shots to black and white with elements within the shot in color.
