Kermit the Frog, The Great Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear are reporters who travel to Britain to interview a rich victim of jewel thieves and help her along with her secretary, Miss Piggy.
The cameo role of British Gentleman was offered to Trevor Howard.
Piggy? Piggy, you're overacting.
Miss Piggy: What?
Kermit: You're overacting. You're hamming it up!
Miss Piggy: I am not! I am trying to save this movie.
Kermit: Yeah, well save your performance instead!
At the end when the crewmember of the plane starts throwing the Muppets out one by one, none of the Muppets he is shown throwing out have parachutes on their backs, then the next shot show chutes opening up with no Muppets attached to them.
In a parody of the MGM Studios logo, this film opens with Animal roaring like the MGM lion. He then proceeds to devour the surrounding title card.
Some music was changed for the 1993 VHS release.
