Do I get the gig, teacher?
Andrew Norris: Where'd you learn how to play that?
Peter Stegman: Do I get the fuckin' gig?
Andrew Norris: No. Maybe I'll give you a shot when you grow up, now get out.
Peter Stegman: Stegman doesn't play in anybody's asshole band, anyway.
The opening title scene when Mr Norris first arrives at the school, he gets out of his car and walks past Biology Teacher Mr Corrigan, standing at his car, and notices a gun inside his opened briefcase, the barrel is pointing down to the opening of the briefcase. In the next shot, the gun's barrel is pointing to the right side of the briefcase, before Mr Corrigan shuts the briefcase.
In the scene just after Terry Corrigan was killed in the car crash, Mr Norris's wife says "It's going to be real hard for Ellen to except Terry's death". In the original Australian video version, (out on Roadshow Video) that is the first words said in the next scene. In the DVD version, the scene starts with Mr Norris saying, "I was amazed at how many kids were there at the funeral" then Mr Norris's wife says "It's gonna be real hard for Ellen to except Terry's death".
